We’ve worked with big brands, temporary pop-ups, and helped online stores transition from the “interwebs” to brick and mortars. We’ve helped coach established retailers streamline their processes and refine their customer experience, and we’ve grown stores from an idea and a dream into reality and we are here for you!
Retail for the People® was founded by retail industry expert Krista J. Boyer. With over a decade of experience in the retail industry, Krista has been part of every aspect of the retail experience.
Her resume includes established brands like Billy Reid, Kate Spade and John Varvatos, to newer brands that have experienced phenomenal growth like Nanushka.
Most recently, Krista was responsible for taking the much buzzed Alchemy Work’s in LA’s Arts District from concept to reality, helping to create a space that Esquire magazine featured as a model for the future of retail, a “non-store” where product integrates seamlessly with rotating art exhibitions and seasonal events. Krista has lived the evolution of elevating retail from a need to an experience and is compelled to help brands succeed by providing expert guidance and implementing meaningful and effective strategies for her clients. Krista is passionate about all areas of retail, specifically the creators and innovators behind the brands and products and making the retail space experience welcoming for both customers and the team.

Mr. Lantz Starratt is a truly vigorous entrepreneur with a background most recently in sales, finance and economics. He is responsible for advancing Retail for the People's financial infrastructure and strategic direction, and developing industry-leading operations.
Highly experienced in running all aspects of a profitable business including finance, accounting, tax, hiring process, internal organization, sales and team management. He loves growing the bottom line and has worked directly with organizations to train and equip the sales department and team to take new ground. We are thankful for his leadership.
He is passionate about emerging and established retail brands and combines both his expertise in sales and business development to serve our clients powerfully. He has an eye for discovering and forecasting the brands and retailers who go on to have success in the luxury and lifestyle marketplace. He is constantly searching for the industry disruptors and upcoming brands that you will know and love in the coming seasons.

Our founder, Krista Boyer was asked to participate in a panel discussion on “Reinventing Physical Retail” during the inaugural REMODE Conference in November 2018, a think tank event that brought the retail industry’s brightest and boldest minds together to change fashion for the better.
